Rory Rockett is a 20-year-old songwriter exploring new worlds with their imaginative folk-pop music. Hailing from Essex but now based in London, having studied songwriting at University, their lyric-focused songs are informed by their queer experiences and love of fantasy and history.. Artists like Aurora, Hozier, Joni Mitchell and The Last Dinner Party are at the forefront of their inspiration. Rory spent 2025 writing and recording their debut EP, releasing the first single 'Portal' in June. 2026 promises new heights for Rory, with their single 'A Song is a Spell' featuring on BBC Introducing and Hoxton Radio. Their most recent single 'Creature of Magic' is a collaboration with rising pop artist, Elfi.
